F.A.Q
Q: Are these products are warranted?
A: Yes, one year warranty.
A: Yes, IP67 protection rating, excellent waterproof and anti-fogging performance.
Q: Does the sender have an alarm?
A: It depends on your request. Alarm function can be set up.
Q: What are the signal output of the level sensors?
A: We can provide several signals: 0-190ohm(European standard), 240-33ohm(American standard), 0-20mA, 4-20mA, 0-5V, or customized as required.
Q: Can the level sensor be cut?
A: Only the length of Capacitance Level Sensor (CLS) can be cut.
Q: How to verify if sender is connected correctly?
A: 1. Check if the sending unit is receiving power from the gauge. The reading at the sending unit will be less than the input voltage at the gauge.
2. Check the sending unit’s ground. The ground wire must be properly grounded to a common ground, or to the negative on the battery.
Q: Why is the level gauge reading inacccurate?
A: That means the gauge and the sensor are using different standards (one may be using American standard, 240 ohms at empty, 33 ohms at full; the other may be using European standard, 0 ohm at empty, 190 ohms at full). Hence, they are not compatible.
Only solution will be to replace either the gauge or the sensor so that both are using same standard.
Q: Can I customize my own logo?
A: Yes, customized products are ok, But it needs extra molding fee.
Q: Why does my gps speedometer stop working and display err?
A: ERR means speedometer doesn't get signal from antenna. Pls. check connection first or maybe it loses signal, try to place GPS antenna in a better spot.
Q: Doesodometer record permanently or is reading deleted when power is off?
A: It depends on your request. We can set up this function.
Q: What size hole is needed for opening?
A: Now we have 2 sizes: 85mm(3-3/8") and 52mm(2"). Every gauge is shipped together with installation instruction.
Q:Do the gauges only work with your sensors?
A: No, the gauges can work together with sensors from other companies as long as both are compatible. If you have no idea, just contact us.
Q: Does the gauge have backlight?
A: Yes, every gauge has kinds of backlight available.
Q:What signal does the tachometer take?
A: The tachometer can get signal from engine(e.g. tacho sensor, ignition coil, crankshaft position sensor, alternator tacho output etc.). It can process both sine and square signals, and can hook up to any engine via setting up the speed ratio. Details refer to installation instructions.
Q: What is the operating voltage for the gauges?
A: The gauge can work with both 12V and 24V. When connecting to 24V , some certain gauges will require a resistor on the connection between the power and the gauge. For those certain gauges, we also ship a resistor together with gauges, and there is installation instruction for each gauge in the box.
